If you are Latvian (or Baltic) or have lived there for any time this is the shop where you can find the things you crave and thought were twelve hundred miles away! An amazing range of items are crammed into a small shop unit and everythting is as fresh as it is can be given the distance it has travelled. I live and worked in Latvia for some years and so I missed many of the staples that I enjoyed in Latgale and Riga . . . Now I can find them just a short walk away and my oldest children who had their formative years there can enjoy their childhood treats!If you don't know what I am talking about try asking the nice people to help you find the heavy black rye bread, the soured cabbage, the soured / cultured milk (Kefirs), the Rigas Smoked Sprats and the cured herring . . . and, for childen, the chilled cream cheese coated in chocolate of different flavours (Karums) and the various excellent ice creams. (Sorry, had to stop to wipe the drool off the keyboard!) There are also deliveries of fresh dill essential for many N European recipes, especially soups.Enjoy!

Come here few time just for the chocolate mushroom and variety of crisps Is kind of a small store but does have a range of items to sell such as meats kafir etc I would recommend trying few items just ask the cashier for recommendations
