Horribly disappointing experience with the solicitor who dealt with the sale of my flat in Coventry. Slow, uncommunicative, and always sounded as though speaking to me was a terrible bore for her. When she forgot to ask the leaseholder for some info that my buyer needed to proceed and went off on her holidays for three weeks, instead of the expected apology for dropping the ball I got a defensive "well I've requested it now".The delay caused me to miss out on my dream home, but it does warm my heart to know that it was all for the greater good of my solicitor having a nice holiday...
