Floor 1 is useless. Is not silent at all, people in group rooms are talking like they are holding a party and some of the smart ones are talking between the 2 doors in the hallway. But staff will come to you as soon as you whisper with the lowest frequency to a friend. Pathetic.
Despise it avidly, because there is NEVER anywhere to sit, it is very FULL at all times of day - even weekends you will struggle to find somewhere. I am a commuter so I can't go home during lesson gaps, so I decide to study to bridge the gap, however, I spend the majority of time walking from floor to floor desperate for a seat somewhere. Also, it is VERY noisy - even in the "silent" area.THERE SHOULD BE MORE FACILITIES. The university is NOT equipped for the volume of students - it's pathetic. A shame as on first seeing the Library i was so impressed with it's architecture and facilites - shame i (and many others) just can't use it.
Terrible place to study for longer than two hours as the deregulated air conditioning makes it unbearable to stay past that time. It is especially true by the computers near the air conditioning vertical "tunnels". It basically forces everyone to wear the same clothes as they would wear outside.
Great place to study and concentrate. can offer more
The library is really fascinating for its design. The ambience is friendly and encourages you to study. Very interactive and modern library. You can sleep and study, borrow laptops from the library, have personal rooms and much more.
