Really good atmosphere and god range of craft beer. Nice food with some good options for vegetarian/vegan appetites alongside usual pub type fare. Friendly staff. Good range of events on regularly.
A lot of room for improvement. Late Friday afternoon, it wasn't busy, but no one had cleaned the tables. The meals "today's specials" were again, limited. My wife had the stew served with bread; the bread was a toasted sad white bun, but this was needed as there was no liquid in the stew. At no point did staff do the usual courteous, how is your meal. Nice building, staff that need direction, and a place that needs management who care about the customer experience.
Came for a work Xmas party. Food very good. I'm part time veggie... meaning I'll eat meat if the veggie option is terrible. This case it sounded good and was good. Veggie menu looks like it's done by someone catering for veggies who actually like good food, not a carnivore chef who thinks veggies should eat salad or nothing. Oh good beers too. Not the usual rubbish, but a mix of craft beers. Yum yum. I got so full I couldn't finish my dessert :(

Never ceases to amaze me how quiet this place is over the weekend. They play good music, the beer is good if not a bit too expensive and the staff are very friendly. I love it- just wish everybody else did!
