I had a disappointing car buying experience at Listers Coventry. After arranging an appointment further emails to the sales person were ignored and not replied to. When arriving at the agreed appointment time I had to wait for around 20 minutes. While the 17,000 car was in good condition it was not immaculate as described in the video with some long marks to the bodywork. I found comments made by the sales person sexist - and it surprised and shocked me that people still hold such a view in 2019. I was open and honest about what I could afford and I gave Listers three opportunities to consider the price they could sell the car for, and I frankly felt insulted with the pantomime on the day of 'asking the manager' to agree a purchase price. What I found particularly disappointing and insulting was the call the following day from the sales manager when he told me in no uncertain terms I didn't understand the concept of negotiation. I had been open and honest and that behaviour was not justified. No one part of the experience with Listers Coventry was awful, but put it all together and I didn't feel like a valued customer. For that reason I will purchase a car elsewhere.
Very helpful as always. Great customer service. Nice waiting area. Puncture repaired for free because I purchased the car there. Now that's being properly looked after. Would highly recommend them
Really bad experience from Volkswagen Coventry. I have paid the full price on Wednesday and been told that my car will be ready by friday. Then i received call on Thursday, said that the document is not ready yet, they cant give me the car but will lent me one on Saturday. I went there this morning and they told me that they cant put me on insurance because I have just passed my driving test few weeks ago. You guys bought up my hope and expectation and dragged me down like this. It's not my fault that you guys sold me the car without checking if all the documents are ready. It's really disappointing that no one, not even the manager can sort this out for me.You tried to offer me another car which is 100 more than the one I paid. Use 100 to cover customers' lost in terms of time, money and effort which actually can help you to earn back reputation for yourself and your company. Is this really too expensive for such huge company? That 100 is worth!!!! To get good customer's experience is the most important part for sales!!! I seriously feel like you guys do even care about customer's experience and how they feel. This is just really disappointing and frustrating.
