Awful experence at this Branch, I went in to see about setting up an account for our business, I spoke to Karl I to where I had an unprofessional service .he said there not looking at taking on this kind of business right now due to lack of cars and man power. After asking to speak to a manager , he replied i am the manager in charge. I found this very strange that a manager could be this unprofessional. Mind you when i arrived he was stood outside speaking to someone on the phone swaring. . luckily now I've found another company that has taken on our business.
Car didn't turn up on the date required. No one answers the phones to discuss why with me. Had to travel to Birmingham to go pick up a car on the day and struggling to sort out refund for taxi fare. No apology or reasons for why the car never turned up and affected my work. All in all a shambles of a place and recommend to avoid this place at all costs.
Awful experience. I was left waiting for over 45 mins to pick up the keys for a van rental. First, there were no members of staff in either the reception area or the staff room (which was left open). Secondly, when a member of staff finally did show up, I was told to wait. After nearly 25 minutes, I went to try and find another member of staff (as they had disappeared), when I eventually found the original staff member who said they had "forgotten" I was there. I then had to wait for the van to be cleaned and taken to a station to be filled with fuel (bear in mind, this was now over an hour since I had arrived at the location, at 15:50 for a 16:00 pick-up). All in all, this was an absolutely awful experience (including issues with pricing and drop-off at the other location).Would definitely not recommend this location in Coventry, or Hertz as a company. Will be using Europcar or Enterprise next time!
I thought service was slow. Name wasn't changed on paperwork when driver was not the original one. Car was dirty outside and also inside. No apology was given. I have no problem with a dirty car when someone apologises for it but they didn't. Hmmm
