I have detailed the key issues below. 1) I asked for a window sil to be fitted ahead of the plasterer arriving so that he could plaster up to it. I raised this in an email on the 29th September (copy below). The plasterer left and it wasnt fitted because Barrie didn't think it wouldn't look nice. I asked Barrie again at the close of the job to fit. He came back with a cost (40 plus VAT) after not charging previously. I didn't want him to carry out the work as a family member could fit for free. Barrie went ahead and fitted it without clarifying and I then received the invoice with a charge of 40 plus VAT. I pushed back and stated that not only did I not want him to fit it, that he didn't fit it how I asked. 2) I have been accused of Lying and also of being a 'know it all' this isn't really treating someone with respect nor it is dealing with complaints in a professional way. See Barries email below:Firstly the issues we had were because of your Know it all attitude and lack of commitment to your bathroom You failed at first to supply the wastes for the bath and basin, when you were asked about it you tried to say they were included in our quote and as you know they werent, wastes are specific to each bath and basin. On Day one you accused us of removing your door frame and damaging your property structurally, as I said neither of these were true but because of your know it all attitude you believed they were, instead of asking politely you just accused us.This was the email where I accused:there are a few things I am concerned about. Firstly the wall outside the bathroom doesnt look like it can support its own weight and our newly decorated hallway has massive cracks on the wall and the wall looks like its coming away from the frame. The cracks have gotten progressively worse as the evening has continued, will your guys resolve this with the help of the plasterer?On the 29th September I sent an email to Barrie ahead of the job to clarify a couple of queries I had. No one bothered to respond. However within that email I asked if I needed to supply the waste as based on the conversation when Barrie quoted I didn't believe I needed to and thought this was odd. The bathroom will be clear and ready for you for when you arrive. Through this process I have been accused multiple times by Barrie of not answering emails, this made the lack of phone number very hard as I knew my emails weren't quite reaching Barrie.An admission of guilt Barrie, said that if I took the review down he would rectify all of the issues and take the money off the bill.
