Had stayed here a few times before with my family but never again it was the worst place Wed stopped in a while still have to pay cash only (who does that these days) left half way through our stay as it was unbearable to use the loos and the emptying facilities broken . Need a good revamp
Simple but clean facilities (seem to have a inate slightly unpleasant smell), common room, nice dogwalking area, trees and green along the back... Friendly, helpful lady.
I have put one star because that is the only way I can get to review this site.It is the worst site I have ever stayed on.The toilet block was not cleaned all the whole time we were there. ( arrived Friday lunchtime and left Monday morning) by Saturday night the showers floors and the floor of the toilet were covered in mud and discarded paper tissues, there was no soap in the dispensers to wash your hands with.By Saturday lunchtime all the bins were full and by Saturday evening all overflowing!These again were not touched and still in the same state when we left on Monday morning.There was absolutely nobody around all weekend to ask for things to be cleaned and emptied. It was just as if all the staff had abandoned the site for the weekend.The hard standing was old tarmac from roads thinly spread over mud which meant (as it was damp) you ended up covered in mud and walked into your van however careful you were.We paid 72.75 for 3 nights for this we got electricity and water absolutely nothing else! It was also cash only payment, I wonder why in this day and age!I would not give this site even 1 star but as I said I had to so I could write this review to warn people NOT TO GO THERE!
Clean tidy and great showers. So quiet, and cars kept separately help to maintain the peace.
Stayed at this caravan site a few weeks ago not what we where told it was the woman on a the reception was very rude, I mentioned the showers where warm she said Weve Stayed on sites with only cold water well Id like to find a site where theres only cold water Ive traveled this country and never come across a site like to that and I wasnt the only person who complained about the showers and to top it off I said I was staying for 2 weeks maybe longer may not be that long paid for the first week then told her I might be there for another 2 weeks never said anything about no refunds but when my work moved me on wouldnt give me the night back I will never stay at this site ever again and wouldnt recommend it to anyone
