Good connections with the rest of the country and decent facilities. Good frequency of trains and most staff are helpful.
Decent station. I have nothing wrong with it.
So I finished my meeting really early and head off to Coventry Train Station arriving 1 hour and 40 minutes before departure.They have a Starbucks on the platform side after you go through the barriers so I thought I would go in there for a drink and a bite to eat, I thought wrong, it turns out you are refused entry to the station until 59 minutes before departure, what a bonkers idea. So I am now sat in the concourse in the cold.I travel with @VirginTrains that run this station on a very regular basis and they need to look at this daft policy. Arriving this early for a train is an exception more than the rule and it's not as if everyone does it and in doing so clogs up the station. Very disappointed.
Place really needs a face lift, looking old and tired now. Toilets are good for a train station. Needs somewhere that sells hot food.
Used this station a few times. Very small. Staff are around which is nice to see. Its a busy station. There are few cafes in and outside the station. Outside the station there a local bus services. Not many places to sit but everytime i visted i always found a place to sit.
