Who the douce take time out to write a review of tile hill station? 5 stars
Six years after commuting from here regularly I can happily say that it's just as good as it was on day one.There's free parking which gets fairly full on weekdays but is nonetheless a good thing to have considering the space they have to work with. The dropping off area by the station has an incredibly obnoxious coffee van that blocks a lot of the space, but I can't really fault the station itself for that. There's still just about room to manoeuvre and get dropped off safely.The station is clean and tidy, which is an achievement considering that nothing else is Coventry is. They repainted the handrails and overpass recently, which fixed up the looks of the station further.There is a self-serve ticket machine outside, and while this used to be incredibly temperamental, recently it seems to have been fixed and works consistently. The ticket office is usually manned as well, which is good.There are covered waiting areas on both platforms, though they're smallish and could use some expansion; this particularly applies to platform 2.Overall, uhh... yeah, good station.
Great station that's conveniently located with free parking, has a self serve ticket machine for out of hours that allow ticket purchase or collection of pre paid tickets
Wow. What a train station. Where do I start? Well for firsts every london midland train stops here- fantastic! Second, well it's a marvellous location; 25 minutes to Birmingham, 7 to Coventry and well about 2 hours to London. Wow. This truly is the best train station in the world.
