Classic Weatherspoons with great architecture and internal design. really nice balcony inside that overlooks the lower bar area. Had a breakfast here before a morning meeting.
Usually a brilliant pub! But have been provoked to write this review as I'm sat in wetherspoons now after being served by a very rude member of staff, I didn't get her name but she looked like a cross between the corpse bride and Ratatouille's girlfriend!
I remember when the place was called The Phoenix and you could dance the night away. Now it's a Wetherspoons pub and very nice it is too. Good selection of food and drink. Quality breakfast.
The service is really nice and the food is awesome! It doesn't matter if you order from the app or not they are still quick to bring the food. Definitely would recommend!
Great Spoons pub, good choice of real ale and standard beers. Excellent spirit selection and reasonable wines. Good food and budget prices. Good cross section of punters from students to real ale drinkers.
