Fantastic beer (small collection) and good pub food. Great for wings also. I love the place
Burgers are pretty good here. But fish and chips is below expectations. Great thing about this place - they have warm place where you could leave and even feed your dog.
Decent pub, friendly staff, quick service. Beer ok and plenty of choice of ales. All day breakfast, steak and ale pie and chips, a plank consisting of two scampi and one beer batter mozzarella sticks with two pints, just short of 32. Not keen on the sticks but the rest was fine.
It is doable in a one hour lunch break! Myself and two colleagues managed to finish our meal and most of our drink all within the hour. I had a pie and chips and it was bloody yummy! I have never come across a similar pie ( chicken, bacon and cheese- I think) very filling. Very satisfied customer.
