After parking above the store and the parking meter swallowing my money, I thought the hard part of my journey was over. I was wrong.Upon ordering 4 of the same item, I received one, and was given a polite but quick thank you... "hold on, I ordered four of these""Oh, I wondered why it didn't tell me the order was complete." Responded the member of staff.After well over 30 minutes of the final item being "carried from the basement", "being lost" and "the manager trying to locate it" I was finally presented with the full order.In the meantime, I received a helpful text to tell me that my order had a problem and had been cancelled. I assume this was an effort to circumvent order completion time statistics and distract customers from the excessive waiting times.Nonetheless, finally I was able to receive all of my order and swore to myself I'd just order online next time.
Walked in here recently on the off-chance of picking up a cool bag for holidays. The place is well laid out and it is very easy to order. The computerised search works well and I was able to find what I was looking for. Gone are the days when you would have to queue for half an hour to collect your purchase. One minor gripe for this Argos is that there is no parking directly beside the store so carrying large items could pose a problem.
