Not a nice park at all. Could do with a lot of tlc.

This park is not safe for most people. It's full of drugs, needles, and other in savoury items. Avoid in the evenings, but the day time is not much better.
Sorry Not Good for little kids.or really any kids. Filled with litter , empty bottles , cans and worse. Not what it used to be. A nice community spot. It's a shame.
Ive been here a handful of times. During the summer its lovely. I usually come with my 2 yr old son. However I am very disappointed with the council who are not doing anything about the drugs and alcohol being consumed here, and the broken glass in the kids area.Good points:1. Good play area for kids in terms of the equipment. 2. Friendly people (there are drunks in some parts of the park but i dont think they are very harmful)3. There is a good football Astro/concrete.Bad points:1. People drinking and smoking drugs. I have smelt drugs when I have been there with my son , and left as soon as I smelt this.2. People smoking cigarettes in the children area. Even mothers with their kids smoking while their kids are playing.3. Glass in the kids play area. Every time I go I pick glass before I let my son play.Conclusion:Best time to come here Is morning at 9am when no yobs and no one smoking. If you go into the kids play area please be mindful of glass. And if you smell cigarettes or drugs, leave.
