A much loved park albeit not quite as large as it once was before as roadworks caused it to be shortened. Famous for being the sight of the battle that never was between to 14th century nobles, the park now has a small playground it one corner. Ball games are played there informally and people sunbathe in the summer. A fine local park but I would go no further than that.
