Lovely Centenary Walk. But Brown Walk not so atmospheric, simply through fields. Cafe in visitor centre really not good. Would not go to cafe again. Only good thing was cafe allows dogs inside.
What a lovely afternoon, beautiful surroundings the cream tea was well presented, the bread was fresh and the fillings were varied the cakes and scones melted in your mouth. The service was perfect staff were polite friendly and very smart thank you all for a lovely relaxed afternoon.
At the weekend I had an astonishingly fabulous time at the Coombe Country Park. Taking away the return to work hours by going for a run round the tracks. The park was nicely busy with parents and children enjoying the last day before returning to school term. What a delight. I also saw on a bench a wreath, albeit placed pre-Christmas the sentiment on the card was lovely. Additional work going on with some crafty handiwork - converting a old tree stump into an owl work of art ... Using a chainsaw! Fabulous!
Great country park with a cafe. You can buy food to feed the ducks and parking reasonable price. Lots of wild life, we found a mole and the kids were so excited.
AMAZING place to go for a stroll or long walk or bike ride with the family! There's quite a few to do, play park for kids near the shop/cafe area, and other places to play as you go into the woody area. Quite often busy but well worth going. We've always gone in spring, autumn time, lovely place for a lovely day out!
