Stayed at the village hotel with two friends and the hotel is absolutely lovely. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfy. Facilities are excellent too. However, the service was a bit of a let down, upon arrival the staff member on reception was on her mobile phone, not very professional. We collected our keys and got to our room but we only only had one double bed, when we booked a sofa bed and double bed for 3 of us. We told the staff member on reception about this and she said house keeping will sort it out. We came back to hotel went to our room and there was still no sofa bed. My friend went down to reception again to find out what was going on and she was told that it was only booked for one person when it was for three. They switched our room for us but it was annoying they had to this at 1am when we gave them ample notice at 7pm before we went out. The hotel made an error in the booking system and we got charged 10 for the room switch, which is unfair. Its the hotels mistake. If you listen back to the phone call, it will be heard that the booking is made for 3. All in all the the stay was good apart from this.

Very popular pub and restaurant on the first floor of the hotel. Pub menu is mix of burgers pizzas ribs with fries and a small selection of starters and deserts. Pub dining is great for groups and single diners as the bar has multiple large screen sports TV channels

I was given a Spa day by a very close and it was wonderful. Never done it before and enjoyed every moment. My cousin Tina and I had a back massage, facial and lunch was included too. The only way they could of bettered our experience would be to have a quiet lunch area, away from children and football fans as Tina and wanted to be peaceful as the Spa experience made us so relaxed. I know it's a family orientated place, but a little quiet corner that wasn't the foyt would have been the cherry on our cake. The Spa and pool was faultless.

Good facilities. Bedroom clean and tidy. Bed a lot smaller than premier inn and only 2 tea bags. Christmas party night....good food bit packed in like sardines..no elbow room to cut your turkey! Breakfast is expensive at 15

Really enjoyed the stay, hotel is very modern looking. Rooms are cosy but well furnished. Staff very friendly and helpful. Loved the bar area which was open and food service very swift despite how busy it was on the Friday we stayed. Would definitely stay again.
