Called the agency to ask for more information about the amount of rent that was due to be paid, the lady who picked up the phone was incredibly rude, gave no information whatsoever and just hung up the phone. Considering the agency fee they charge for their services, this was completely unacceptable.

I've been dealing with "Whitgates" for over ten years. I cannot speak highly enough about David and his team. They are always helpful and professional, dealing with every issue efficiently.I have no hesitation to recommend this estate agents to anyone.
They were okay, helped me find a pet friendly place by asking a landlady if she would be happy to have my small dog on the premises. Any issues were swiftly dealt with. However, make sure you're on top of them contractually when you leave. I had to remind them of their deadlines to confirm deductions from my deposit and the return of my remaining deposit, both were done at around 5pm on exactly the final day after my chasing. Their excuse was that staff were on annual leave. Aside from that they were fine, though.
